In each Croatian city there is at least one hospital. Smaller towns have emergency clinics that also offer basic medical help.
There are pharmacy shops in almost every town and they are usually open from 8am to 7pm (to 3am on Saturdays).
Social security
Foreigners do not pay medical services if the country of their citizenship have signed the medical insurance convention.
